Food and Drink

At Spice Deli we celebrate spices from India and the Middle East. We pride ourselves on creating everything (barring the fantastic sourdough bread from an artisanal bakery) in house.

At Spice Deli we are inspired by food of our childhood, our travels and seasonality.

We offer something for all our customers starting from hot pastries, breads and cakes that are baked daily by our pastry chef to go with your morning coffee or tea. At 8:30 we open our doors, and breakfast is on offer from our a la carte menu, which carries on till 3 pm every day.

You can find Indian classics such as anda bhurji and poha but also shakshuka and cilbir. By 11 am, an array of large platters of salads, cooked vegetables, grilled fish, and chicken are on offer to take away or to eat in at our two floor deli with 30 seats downstairs.

We close at 5 pm except for Fridays and Saturdays where we have a separate dinner menu with cocktails and puddings which carries on till 10 pm.

We also do catering and our space can be hired for a private party.

At Spice Deli, we only support other small businesses like us and we stock their products in our shop section upstairs-chutneys and pickles from Cheeky Food Co, Jams from Awani Bali, artisanal coffee from Vagabond Roasters and Sri Lankan tea from Kandula. Our meat is free range and our fish is sustainable sourced. Sourdough bread and croissants are from Margot Bakery.

At Spice Deli we want to take you and your guests on a culinary spice adventure! So let us take care of planning your menu, sourcing the ingredients and preparing your feast while you enjoy your guests. Based on our experience with running supperclubs, we can offer you a formally plated experience or for larger crowds, a buffet experience. We can create a menu according to your theme, budget and dietary requirements.  We can take care of all your food, including scrumptious desserts.

“Spice Deli has hosted two of our corporate events which were without a doubt a great success! Was it not only delicious but also beautifully presented! The spices used are delicate and bring out the best quality in the ingredients. My favourites were the pork belly vindaloo and minced pie ice cream that was specially made for our Christmas party”.

“I really enjoyed myself, and would have no qualms about signing up for another Spice Deli supper club. Kim and her husband were lovely, and came over to chat with us once we had finished the food. Kim also educated/entertained us by giving us a few pots of spices; we were encouraged to smell/touch them to guess what they were.”

A fantastic supper club experience yet again with SpiceDeli ! Am certainly going to be a regular. “I especially enjoyed the buttermilk pannacotta with passionfruit, super fresh and wonderful after a spicy meal”.
